Welcome to the "New" World of Scouting! Times are changing and so is scouting. The Boy Scouts of America has been working with the male youth of the United States of America for over a hundred years now and 10 years ago they decided to revolutionize the world of scouting. They created something known as Venture Scouts for those scouts who have completed "everything."
This new program not only incorporates older youth, but even older females! This is a revolutionary, very controversial idea, but seems to have taken flight. After all, we are a little bit behind the times. Many other countries have incorperated both males and females for years and years... There are only 4 countries in the world that havent and America is on the list. Its only a matter of time before this idea spreads to the rest of the scouting curiculum. Hopefully soon! Countdown to the end of the world5/10/2012 I am sad to announce that I will be getting rid of the crew blogs... Our crew doesnt seem interested in reading them so there is no point... We will now regulate the facebook page reguarly instead. This means all outside chatter needs to stop and we will now be restricting posts to crew related and scouting appropriate. This of course is all pending approval through the crew... All voting and whatnot will still be held through the crew website.
